Official Giveaway Rules & Terms

This giveaway is sponsored by Friends of San Clemente, a local nonprofit organization supporting San Clemente parks, beaches, events, and community traditions.

Eligibility

This giveaway is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Employees, board members, officers, and immediate family members of Friends of San Clemente may be excluded from winning, depending on the specific giveaway.

Giveaway Period

Unless otherwise stated in the specific giveaway announcement, the giveaway will include its own start date, end date, and winner announcement date. Entries received outside the stated giveaway period will not be eligible.

How to Enter

To enter, participants must complete the official entry form provided by Friends of San Clemente.

No purchase, donation, membership, or payment is required to enter or win.

Limit one (1) entry per person unless otherwise stated in the specific giveaway announcement.

Prize

The prize for each giveaway will be clearly stated in the giveaway announcement, including the approximate retail value when applicable. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated.

Winners are responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with prizes where applicable.

Winner Selection

Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the giveaway period.

The odds of winning depend solely on the total number of eligible entries received during the giveaway period.

Friends of San Clemente reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant before awarding a prize.

Winner Notification

The winner will be announced and/or contacted using the contact information provided on the entry form. If a winner cannot be reached within a reasonable period of time, Friends of San Clemente reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

Publicity

By entering, participants allow Friends of San Clemente to announce the winner’s first name, last initial, and/or city for promotional and transparency purposes, unless prohibited by law.

Privacy

Information collected through the giveaway entry form may be used to contact participants about the giveaway and to share future Friends of San Clemente updates, events, and community opportunities. Participants may opt out of communications at any time.

Information collected through giveaway entries will be handled in accordance with the Friends of San Clemente Privacy Policy, where applicable.

Instagram/Facebook Disclaimer

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta. By entering, participants release Instagram, Facebook, and Meta from any responsibility related to this giveaway.

General Conditions

Friends of San Clemente reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical issues, or any other factor affects the fairness or integrity of the giveaway.

Friends of San Clemente also reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, abusive, or violates these official rules.

Legal Compliance

Friends of San Clemente intends to conduct all giveaways in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. These giveaways are intended to operate as free promotional giveaways (opportunity drawings). No purchase, donation, or payment is required to enter or win.

Void where prohibited by law.
